Purpose
The airborne medical module is intended for application aboard the Il-76 airplane and its modifications for the purpose of medical evacuation of four injured persons maximum on the stretchers in case of emergency with a possibility of rendering of qualified medical care using medical equipment (medical devices, apparatuses and instruments) included into the module set. Up to five medical modules may be installed aboard the Il-76 airplane.

MEDICAL MODULE PROVIDES FOR:

- Evacuation of 4 (four) lying-down injured persons;
- Quick and reliable placement and fixation of injured person brought on stretchers or using another transportation means;
- Possibility of comfortable and safe connection of diagnostic and resuscitation equipment to perform necessary medical treatment on ground and in flight;
- Installation and removal of modules in cargo cabin of Il-76 airplane using tools, included into the airplane maintenance tool set (installation in the aircrafts of another type is also possible after appropriate tests performance);
- Medical equipment arrangement is operating and transportation positions;
- Reliable fixation of injured person in order to ensure its safe transportation;
- Simultaneous accommodation and rendering of qualified medical care to 1 up to 4 persons depending on severity of injuries;
- Rendering of first medical aid, medical assistance and emergency medical care to the injured persons on the scene of the accident and their preparation for transportation to basic medical facilities;
- Resuscitation, intensive critical care and monitoring of primary functions of vital activity of injured persons;
- Emergency sparing medical evacuation of injured persons.
